<div>I'm setting up this gofund me page on behalf of my cousin. Rachael is experiencing a difficult and extremely sad time with her son Jaxon.

<div>Jaxon was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 4.   It all started when mum (Rachael) took Jaxon to walk in centre with symtoms of tiredness, feeling dizzy, sickness severe headaches and a sore throat. Rachael has been told that the symptoms are believed to be caused by viral infection. Rachael knew something was wrong, and after several attempts to get an appointment, she was able to see Jaxon's GP. Jaxon's symptoms became worsening by time they had chance to see their GP on the 3rd of January. From the GP they were immediately sent to the hospital.  That's when Rachael knew something was seriously wrong...

<div>Further tests and scans determined that Jaxon had a brain tumour.

<div>The tumour is called Ependymoma. 
</div>

<div>This is a malignant cancer tumour that occurs mostly in children.
</div>

<div>Unknown words that can shatter any parents' world.

<div>Followed by further tests,  Jaxon had a 13-hour operation to remove the tumour from his brain. Jaxon is now facing further treatment, including proton therapy. This is because it is safer for Jaxon to have proton therapy, meaning less side effects. This treatment will last 6 and 1/2 weeks, which means Jaxon has to be put to sleep 45 minutes to an hour every day for the treatment.

<div>We are setting this page up to help with travel costs, food, bills &amp; making Jaxon's life as fun as it should be for his age as it is possible!
