Insurance money from car accident

As some of you may know, on August 31st of 2017 when 3 friends from Nicaragua were visiting me in LA, we got into a car accident. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured, although my friend Alberto ended suffering head trauma and after 43 stitches in the head and face he was able to go back home. Fortunately, he has recovered since!
In addition to medical costs, I've been working with the insurance company to figure out the final cost for the damages of the car which turned out to be $2,730. My friends and I are finding ways to come up with this money and we thought about the amazing family and friends we have that could maybe help us.
Any contribution that you are able to give would mean the world to us. This time of struggle is when we really need your support. Paying this debt will relieve so much stress from my family and me.
