Hi my name is Christina & I am setting this up for my friend Kathy. Kathy is retired and has custody of her two grandchildren. Jason is her 10 year old grandson. Jason is such a sweet, caring, loving, outgoing, helpful and well rounded kid. Jason is best friends with my son, and has become part of our family (so has Kathy & her granddaughter). Kathy has done an incredible job raising them, it's admirable how much she does for them, considering she has no help from anyone else . Jason really loves summer camp and because Kathy is the only care taker, living on her retirement funds money is extremely tight. Jason has offered to sell all his books and toys, and even not play sports just so he can go to camp. I know how hard Kathy tries to give both kids everything they need and want, but sometimes it's not realistic. With that being said I am setting this up to see if some people can join together and atleast get Jason to camp for a few weeks. Anything helps and this family deserves it so much.
