<div>My name is Tony Patterson and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Jason Bell, a hardworking long-distance semitruck driver, and one of the kindest, most loving fathers I know. He's also that "give you the shirt off of his back" friend.

<div>I met him 20 years ago while we were helping train our armed forces before they were deployed to combat in Iraq. I watched him singlehandedly save 100's of our troops lives, as well as countless Iraqi civilian lives. He even saved my life by letting me live with him during the roughest period of my life. Big time "shirt off of his back" energy.

<div>Now, my friend needs our help.

<div>Around two years ago, Jason was involved in a truck rollover in Colorado. He recovered from his wounds (at least the ones he could see) and started driving again earlier this year. Things were going seemingly fine, until he started to notice he was losing power in his left arm. Then shortly after, he started losing power in his right arm. And shortly after that, he started losing power in his legs. In August, he fell off the back of his trailer while he was working, and gave himself a concussion, as well as breaking a vertebra in his lower back. Three weeks later, he was climbing into his truck, and his legs gave out, causing him to fall again, this time fracturing a vertebra in his upper spine. Yes.......he broke his back TWICE in 3 weeks! Since then, his physical condition has deteriorated. He's fallen several more times since, with him splitting his head open on the last one.

<div>He's down to about 5% usage of his left arm/hand, and about 20% usage of his right arm/hand. He has lost the ability to do the most basic functions, including tie his own shoes

<div>Doctors have told him he will need spinal surgery followed by an extensive recovery and rehabilitation process.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Jason needs to take time off work to recover, so he can get back to working hard and providing for his family, as well as delivering our goods from coast to coast and everywhere in between.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because of the way his trucking work is structured, Jason doesn’t have any coverage or disability protection for injuries like this. Since he can’t work, his family has lost their main source of income.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, Jason and his family are doing their best to stay strong, but they urgently need help to get through the coming months.
</div>
