<div>On Thursday, July 10th, I received a heartbreaking call from my dad—he told me he had been detained by ICE. Since then, we haven’t heard from him at all. That same day, my younger brother was also detained. Even though he’s a U.S. citizen, they held him until late at night—and when he came home, he was bruised and shaken. ICE agents had physically hurt him.

<div>Now, our family is in pieces. My mom is doing her best, but it’s just the two of us trying to hold everything together while caring for my four younger siblings. The emotional and financial toll is heavy, and we’re struggling. We never imagined something like this would happen to our family.

<div>I’m starting this fundraiser to help my mom with bills and basic needs while we fight to get answers and bring my dad home. This situation has devastated us, and any support—whether through donations or simply sharing our story—means the world.

Ese mismo día, también detuvieron a mi hermano, aunque él es ciudadano estadounidense. Lo retuvieron hasta tarde en la noche y cuando regresó a casa, venía golpeado y muy afectado. Los agentes de ICE lo lastimaron físicamente.
