Help Janssen Family After House Fire

Donation protected
On Sunday May 23rd, 2021 the Janssen family experienced a devastating house fire at their home in Beamsville, Ontario. While mom (Deanna), dad (Mark) and 11 year old twins (Shayne and Luka) were able to make it out safely, they tragically lost two dogs, a cat and many of their belongings to this unfortunate situation.

The house was left inhabitable, leaving the family to seek emergency shelter in the middle of a global pandemic.

We know that possessions can be replaced but people can not and we are eternally grateful that the family made it out safely. Sadly, the reality is that these situations not only reek havoc on peoples emotional and mental health but also place a lot of strain on a family’s finances as they have to pay a lot of money up front to replace what was lost in the fire. We hope to alleviate some of the stress for Mark and Deanna as they face the next steps to re-establish life for their family.

This tragic event is something that nobody can ever fully prepare for. We greatly appreciate and wish to thank you for any and all contributions made amidst a year that has already been difficult for all.  All amounts help. We know the Janssens appreciate it from the bottom of their hearts.
