My name is Jasmine Smith, I live in Tasmania and I am a close family friend with
Janette MacLeod’s and her family.
Janette is a beautiful, loving, caring person that has tragically been involved in an accident and has been flown to a Melbourne Hospital due to spinal injuries, which the doctors say she will most likely never fully recover from, resulting in severe paralysis.
I started this campaign fund raiser to help her mother, Pamela Wilkinson ( Janette’s mother) (formerly Pamela MacLeod) to be able to travel and stay in Melbourne so she can be by her daughters side during this difficult time and to also pay for the expensive medical expenses that will occur due to Janette’s future disability needs.
I have added Pamela as the beneficiary to this fund and the money will be deposited directly to her so she can use it for her daughters needs.
Janette is always helping other people out and now its our turn to help her and her family!
A Comment from Robert Macleod, Janette’s older brother:
“I would just like to personally thank Jasmine Smith and her family for their dedication to setting up a campaign fundraiser for Janette. I didn’t personally plan on doing one, as at this time we don’t know the extent of her injuries and how it will affect her mobility or otherwise.
To all of you amazing people out there who helped us with Andrews funeral costs only a short 7 months ago and are now helping us once again with Janette, I am speechless.
No words can express my gratitude nor my amazement at the generous nature of folks who truly care. Time and time again, you have all put my faith back into the selflessness, and benevolence of human nature.
Janette is the strongest person I know, She will come out of this and I cannot wait for her to be able to see the extent of how much she is loved by all of you wonderful people.
From the bottom of my families hearts, Thank you.“
