<div>Hello, my name is Jan Campbell and I am raising funds to help a elderly neighbor, Jan Luc, who has been displaced from her long-time residence by a landslide. Since the City of Santa Barbara has redlined her property, she is unable to enter her home to retrieve any of her belongings or long held treasures. She is currently in temporary housing at a local hotel – together with her two adult sons, Patrick, and Ben.

<div>The agency I work for, Family Service Agency, and the City Housing Authority are helping how they can. We have started this GoFundMe account to help her with stabilizing and replacing some of her possessions. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the disaster, her insurance does not cover any of the damage or replacement costs or temporary living expenses.

<div>Jan has lived in her home in the foothills of Santa Barbara that her husband built over 40 years ago. My husband, Randy and I have known her since 1995 as she babysat for our girls when they were small, and Jan and I worked together years ago at a local accounting firm.

<div>Below is a picture of her home. Those of us who live in this neighborhood have experienced several major fires and many of us lost our homes. We know all too well how it feels to be without a familiar place to come home to. The loss of family photos and possessions that make life comfortable is dauting for anyone - but particularly for someone in their late 80's. Jan is a positive and upbeat person and is grateful for any assistance.
