<div>My name is Sophie, and I’m James’ sister. I’m reaching out today with a heavy but hopeful heart to ask for your support.

<div>James has spent his life protecting others as a police officer in London’s Metropolitan Police. Over the years, he faced traumatic and challenging scenes — the kind most of us are lucky never to experience. Last year, James started struggling with severe anxiety and was initially diagnosed with PTSD, something sadly common among officers who give so much of themselves.

<div>However, his condition continued to worsen. Despite battling through, James found himself unable to return to work. Without a clear diagnosis at the time, and with growing pressure from the job to come back, the strain on him became unbearable. In the end, James made the heartbreaking decision to resign from the police - a career he had dedicated his life to - because it was only making his health deteriorate further.

<div>After months of uncertainty and countless tests, the doctors gave us the devastating news that James has brain cancer.
</div>

</div>
<div>Unfortunately, James is no stranger to cancer, having already experienced Non Hodgkinsons Lymphoma - an aggressive form of cancer 15 years ago
</div>

</div>
<div>The tumour had already begun to severely affect his ability to communicate and make decisions, and tragically, he later developed symptoms of psychosis. James has been treated in the intensive care unit, and thanks to his incredible strength - and the dedication of his medical team - the chemotherapy is starting to show promising signs. The tumour is shrinking, and little by little, the psychotic symptoms are improving.

<div>Throughout all of this, James’s wife, Tasha, has been nothing short of remarkable. She has managed to keep working full time while travelling hours every day to be with James, fighting to support him through every moment. But now, the financial pressure is becoming overwhelming.

<div>James can no longer work. Tasha is doing everything she can, but she cannot do this alone.
</div>

</div>
<div>We are setting up this fundraiser to help ease the burden: to help with bills, travel costs, and the mounting everyday expenses that don’t stop when life throws you a crisis.
