My name is James Green I’m from Jacksonville Florida most of my life growing up I had it hard, harder than most. I have been an addict, i have sold drugs in which that led me to prison. I have been free and I’ve been clean for 35 months. I work a real job at a tree service and provide for my kids and family the right way. I was blessed with this 2001 Buick le Sabre from my step dad Shon, to help me get back and forth to work. I’ve been working at this company for a year and one block from my shop at 6:45 in the morning on cesery blvd I was rammed by a f150 while at a dead stop to turn on my companies road at 50 mph. The F150 left the scene without me being able to get a tag number and unfortunately no cameras in the area could see his tag number. And honestly I’ve been working so hard to stay on this right path, to never miss a day of work and to stay sober from fentanyl and all opiates and be the dad my kids deserve the sibling my sisters and brother deserve and the son my parents deserve and most of all to keep my oath I made to My Lord and savior Jesus Christ that I wouldn’t ever be an addict again, or be someone who sells that poison to addicts. And when I feel like everything’s going good the Devil steps in and allows this to happen to me. I can’t afford to buy a car and I can’t afford to lose my job. I’ll catch the city bus until I figure things out, but I’m asking for anyone who believes in change, who believes in helping someone who truly needs it and has worked so hard to be a better man everyday, to please help me with anything u can. I don’t care if it’s five dollars. I’ll be working and trying to save up money to put towards a new car and I promise you that any donation even a dollar will be appreciated by myself my co worker I gave a ride to everyday to and from work and my two handsome little boys James B Green IV and Jeremiah Allen Neal Green. I’ve helped people when i was able to and still do to this day when I am not truly able to. And if u don’t find it in your heart to help me to get a new cheap vehicle I understand and respect that and appreciate you taking the time to atleast read my story And consider it but if u do find it in your heart to help me with any donation just know that your helping a great man, who overcame a lot of hard obstacles in his life, all while remaining a great genuine person, who Loves God and his family and children, who wants to make a difference everyday in any way to people who fight addiction or are struggling.
