"Help Jamaica Rise: Relief for Forgotten Communities"

Hello,
My name is Abeba Davis. I currently reside in the United States. I'm starting this campaign on behalf of "Gorella Unit Security and Bouncers," who have, for years, provided security for many well-known celebrities and VIPs. They are using that same security talent and resources to offer help and protection to the people of Jamaica in this desperate time. This campaign hits hard because of the devastation that has struck my beautiful homeland of Jamaica. Not only is this my country, where I grew up and had fond childhood memories, but it also holds a special place in my heart. This catastrophic event has left me and many people here in the US and around the world exhausted, scared, and stressed for our family and friends who are currently there struggling and in dire need of help, along with the entire people of Jamaica.
Jamaica is facing unimaginable devastation from Category 5 Hurricane Melissa. This disaster has left many of us who love Jamaica heartbroken and who also call it our home, devastated at the destruction that Hurricane Melissa has left behind.
In Jamaica, officials have reported that more than 77% of the island is without electricity, leaving them in complete darkness. The lack of cell service makes it impossible for people in Jamaica to communicate with family and friends here in the US and in other countries for help. People are without fresh, clean water, clothes, shelter, and more. While relief efforts are being sent to the areas most severely affected in the western region, there are still many parishes left struggling without water, electricity, food, or essential supplies. Roads are blocked, cutting off access to relief centers, some of which are four to five hours away by car, making it nearly impossible for residents to reach them on foot.
In this time of crisis, "Gorella Unit Security and Bouncers" has stepped up to provide aid to forgotten communities, ensuring that help reaches those in desperate need. However, they cannot continue this mission without your support. Donations are urgently needed to keep delivering supplies such as Mosquito repellant, candles, batteries, flashlights, small lanterns or lamps, garbage bags, sheets, blankets, water, sanitary napkings, diapers, baby food and formulas, pet food, baby wipes, tin goods, non perishable food items, soaps, deodorants, paper plates and cups, disposable silverware, matches, water containers, rice, etc. Gorella Unit Security and Bouncers will safely deliver and distribute these items while protecting their team, the supplies, and especially the people they serve from harm and theft.
Please, find it in your heart to give whatever you can; no amount is too small. Let us come together, as our motto reminds us, "Out of many, one people." Together, we can lift each other, support our brothers, sisters, and loved ones, and restore hope to a nation in pain.
Thank you for your time, compassion, and generosity. May God bless you all, and may God bless Jamaica.
