Help Jake & Shari Rebuild After Devastating House Fire

Our clients often become more than just clients—they become friends. And for those of us who know Jake and Shari Crisafulli, we know them as two of the most hardworking, kindhearted people you could ever meet. They’ve built a life together through dedication, resilience, and love, but in a single moment, everything they had was taken away.

On the night of January 29th, Jake settled in for the night on the sofa of their home in Wolcott, NY, while Shari was away visiting her mother. As he slept, an unthinkable disaster struck. Jake was abruptly awakened by the piercing sound of a smoke detector, only to find his home fully engulfed in flames. With no time to spare, he ran outside—just moments before the fire consumed everything.

While we are beyond grateful that Jake, Shari, and their dog are safe, they are now facing the heartbreaking reality of having lost everything. Their home, their clothing, their furniture, and a lifetime of personal belongings—gone in an instant. Though they were insured, it will take time for their claim to be processed, and at this very moment, they have nothing but the clothes on their backs. They need immediate help to get through the difficult days and weeks ahead.

That’s why we are reaching out to our community—to friends, neighbors, and kindhearted strangers who believe in helping those in need. Jake and Shari have spent their lives working hard and giving to others. Now, in their greatest time of need, we have the chance to give back to them.
