  We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits. Jake, our sweet and silly four-year-old, recently collapsed at preschool due to a mass in his brain. Just weeks before this terrifying incident, Jake had been seen by multiple doctors, who unfortunately misdiagnosed his symptoms, insisting that nothing was wrong. Now, Jake faces major surgeries to determine his prognosis and next steps in his treatment.
 Jake is a bright, joyful boy who lights up every room. He’s always been the one to cheer others up, but now he needs our help more than ever.
 Jake's parents, Sara Lynch and Patrick Maher, are devoted to being by his side every step of the way, but the road ahead is daunting. Without insurance and without paid sick leave from their jobs, they are facing an overwhelming financial burden. Medical bills are already piling up, and the added strain of covering everyday living expenses while Jake undergoes treatment is more than any family should have to bear alone.
