<div>Jake was involved in a tragic hit-and-run accident after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the road as a pedestrian. He is currently in the ICU at UCLA Hospital, where he is receiving excellent care for a severe traumatic brain injury.

<div>Jake is currently in a medically induced coma as his medical team works to stabilize his condition and support his recovery.

<div>Funds raised will go directly toward helping Jake and his family with travel, medical and legal expenses, and the ongoing costs associated with his recovery (we do not have a specific target but aim to raise as much as possible to support Jake). Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser, means so much to Jake and his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

<div>The money will be handled by Jakes sister, Jessica VanBeukering.
