<div>Hi everyone, my name is Tiffany and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart but hopeful spirit asking for help with our beloved dog, Jade. Jade is our almost 10 year old tri-colored Siberian Husky and has been the most loyal, sweetest, loving member of our family since she was a puppy. Here is her story of what happened recently:

<div>A few weeks ago, Jade showed her fierce protectiveness when she was attacked by a skunk while defending our backyard. Unfortunately, during that incident, she severely injured her right hind leg—a cranial cruciate ligamentous injury/rupture—which now requires a consultation to see a surgeon, more x-rays, and the possibility of surgery.

<div>Our Central Vet referred us to a surgeon for a consultation to see if surgery would be best for her since she is still not using her leg. We do know just from observing her, that Jade will most likely need the surgery to help her regain use of her leg and live pain free again. We are already getting into debt with the first vet visit with multiple x-rays and medications prescribed. We are a family with two young children, and this sudden expense is financially overwhelming but Jade is worth all of it.

<div>Jade is still a fighter—she’s on medication to ease the pain along with resting, but she struggles still to put weight on her leg and will need this surgery to truly heal and enjoy life again. She’s been there for us through so much, and now we need your help to be there for her.

<div>Every donation received, no matter the size, will go directly towards Jade’s vet visits, x-rays, surgery, medication and recovery care. If you can’t donate, sharing her story means the world to us.
