Help Jacqueline stay in her apartment

Over a year since I wrote about a private landlord who had recently purchased a former public house project threatening to evict folks from public housing during the Covid-19 pandemic, once again the landlord is trying to evict one of the women I interviewed for the story, Jacqueline McMaryion.

 

They're saying she's back on payments and will be evicted if she doesn't pay her back rent. She is on limited income and has children who she hasn't been able to buy gifts for Christmas.

 

Please consider helping Jacqueline and prevent her and her children from becoming homeless. All the funds raised here will go directly to her and her family.
