As an amazing father, husband and friend, Jacob has defied all odds, survived and persevered what most couldn't even imagine. Now for the second time, he and his family must fight again & we are making sure they don't do it alone this time.
Nearly five years ago, just after having his second child, Jacob was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor. With the only course of treatment being high risk brain surgery, Jacob accepted treatment, completed the surgery and recovered beautifully. Not letting anything stand in his way, he jumped right back into the family life.
Fast-forward 5 years to last week, his wife came home from work to notice something seemed very wrong. After rushing to the hospital nearly 2 hours away, Jacob went through a multitude of test to discover the worst... his tumor has returned. As anyone can imagine, being far from home and being in hospitals facing devastating news can wreak havoc on a family, both mentally, physically and emotionally.
We are trying to raise immediate funds to keep his family in the hotel connected to the hospital so they can be close to Jacob while helping maintain their bills back home so when this is all over with, they can return back home and focus on recovery instead of how to keep a roof over their head.
