<div>Hey everyone, I’m reaching out on behalf of my best friend Allyson her family; Cam, Lucas, and baby Jackson. They are living every parents worst nightmare right now.

<div>Their sweet baby boy, Jackson, was born just a few weeks ago, on January 29, 2025. Late Thursday night, he suddenly stopped breathing. By some miracle, they got him to the hospital just in time before it was too late. He has been in the NICU at Primary Children’s Hospital ever since, undergoing constant testing, but doctors still don’t know what’s causing this. He is intubated and hooked up to many machines, Allyson and Cam have not even been able to hold their sweet boy in days.

<div>Allyson and Cam are staying by Jackson’s side, facing the unknown, exhausted, and terrified. On top of everything, Allyson’s maternity leave ends this week, but going back to work isn’t an option right now—her focus has to be on Jackson. Cam is trying to juggle work while missing time to be at the hospital, but they are already feeling the strain.

<div>Meanwhile, Jackson’s big brother, Lucas, who just turned 4, is trying to understand why everything has suddenly changed. He misses his parents and his baby brother, and like any child his age, he doesn’t fully understand what’s happening. On top of medical expenses and lost income, Allyson and Cam will also need help covering childcare and extra support for Lucas to keep his world as stable as possible during this incredibly difficult time.
