Help Jackie Wolfe, a 68 year old widow and mom

Hi everyone, this is Jackie. She is a 68 year old widow, and also a mom to a 14 year old. Jackie’s husband, Mike, of 47 years passed away at the beginning of this year (January) from cancer. Mike was the sole provider, even up until the end of his fight here on earth. Jackie is currently on social security and also receives a small amount for their daughter In survivor benefits. However, with todays inflation, even that is barely enough to get by.

Jackie’s husband had life insurance, not a lot, but enough to provide her with peace of mind. Unfortunately Jackie’s son came in and had the wrong intentions once he heard about the life insurance. He drained Jackie completely dry. He is a con man and took advantage of his mom, scamming and promising he would “pay her back” when he never had any intentions to do so. He knew that his mom was easily taken advantage of and preyed on her like a hawk.

Due to this, Jackie and her daughter are now essentially homeless and living in a hotel room.

Jackie’s granddaughter is doing everything she can to get them into a home, but as of right now finances are the main issue. Unfortunately her granddaughter is in a living situation where she cannot take them in, but she is working day and night to find resources, find a home, and do everything it possibly takes to get them to a safe home with stability.

We know that the economy is tough right now, and more are struggling than not. However, if you are able, even a dollar helps. It all adds up!
