I'm Jackie Thornton, screenwriter of BABY ORCHID. BABY ORCHID tells the story of Jonnie, a no-nonsense Black nurse who dutifully cares for her infirm but still randy parents. Her carefully curated life is thrown into chaos when her best friend dies and makes Jonnie the guardian to her newly adopted Chinese baby.

After a successful table read of the script, I'm ready to turn the script into a feature film. But first, I need to get financing. To do that, I need to make a short film of key scenes from the script to appeal to investors. This is where you come in. Your contributions will help make this possible.
