Help Jackie Recover from a House Fire

On Sunday December 13 at 1:56 there was a house fire in Mesquite Texas.  The house belongs to Jackie Carroll.  She is a hard working woman living paycheck to paycheck. She lived alone with her 3 dogs, 2 of which did not survive.  She does not have insurance.  

While most of her possessions were destroyed and there is extensive damage (pictures below), the house is still standing.  We are trying raise funds to start making repairs to her home.  It will have to be gutted down to studs and rebuilt on the inside as well as some repairs to the windows and brick.  Her brother  will be able to help with the labor but they will need money for materials and then later to refurnish her home.  We will also be looking for contractors willing to donate or discount their time.  

Fortunately she had only minor injuries and has a place to stay while repairs are being made.
