Help give Jack a Happy Home!!

Help a boy with autism fund a conservatory to his home so he can have his life back!!

Jack is a 12 year old boy who has autism and severe learning disabilities. Jack can’t communicate through many words, he mainly tells you how he is through his behaviour.

Jack lives with his mum, dad and two older brothers in the family home. Jack’s home is small and he has always needed a separate dining room to be able to eat proper meals with his family and do activities he really enjoys like board games, puzzles and arts and crafts. He loves to be creative and have fun.

Last year Jack had a really bad time and hurt himself a lot by hitting his head with his fist or his knee. Jack ended up in hospital for 3 months and spent Christmas Day on his own in an isolated hospital room.

Jack got a bit better and was able to leave the hospital but a safe space had to be put into the family home to make sure he could be kept safe. Because of this, Jack lost his dining room. He stopped eating properly and he ended up needing medical support as he became severely dehydrated. Jack stopped doing activities that he enjoyed which has affected Jack’s happiness. The family no longer have an area where they can be a family. They can’t eat together or play games together.

Jack’s family all love and care for him very much and just want him to be happy.

We are looking to raise £25,000 for a conservatory to be built onto the family home. This will give Jack structure so he can be supported to eat properly and spend time having fun with his family.

Please help us to fight so that Jack can have a better start to 2018!!

Thanks, PBS4
