Help Jack March Carolina Crown

Donation protected

Hello everyone! My name is Jack Cooper. I am an 18 year old senior at Biglerville High School. For years, my favorite activity has been color guard. I joined the winter guard at my school in 7th grade. Since then, I've helped our school color guard grow in the indoor and outdoor competitions. I've helped our indoor program go from second to last place in 2009 to KIDA Champions in 2013. In our outdoor circuit, I've helped our guard get fist place at the Atlantic Coast Championships for 4 consecutive years. In May of my last year, I submitted an audition video for the United States Army All-American Marching Band color guard. There were hundreds of people that applied from all over the country, and I was selected to be one of the 24 color guard members. This means that this New Year's, I will have an all-expenses paid trip to San Antonio, Texas, where I will perform at the premier high school football game in the country. As you can see, color guard is a major part of my life. I strive to be the best performer that I can possibly be. That's why I want to join a drum corps this summer.
Drum and bugle corps are marching units consisting of brass instruments, percussion instruments, and color guard. Drum corps perform in competitions, parades, and other types of festivals. There is a World Class division and an Open Class division in the internationally competing circuit "” Drum Corps International. Ever since I saw my first DCI show, I knew that I wanted to be a part of something that amazing. My time to be a part of a World Class drum corp is running out as the age limit in the DCI circuit is 21 years old. To make myself a better performer, I wish to be a part of the best drum corp in the world, Carolina Crown. Not only did the corp win DCI finals this past year, it is my favorite drum corp and color guard. This past weekend, I went to Fort Mill, South Carolina to audition for the Carolina Crown Color Guard. It was one of the best learning experiences of my life, where I had much success. Unfortunately, I still have to go to a December Camp and callbacks in April before I know if I made it into the corps. Before the April callbacks, I have to pay full tuition of $2,000, which is a major struggle. Even if I don't end up making the Crown Guard, I will march somewhere else. So, all I'm asking of you, is a small donation to help me march with my dream drum corps. I know everyone has their own bills to pay, but any amount would help. If everyone donated $1, I would have over one month's tuition paid for. That alone would be such a big help! You can send checks to my house, give them to me in person, or donate to my Go Fund Me website. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
Thank you for helping to make my dream come true!
