Help Ivory's Mom & Sisters

My name is Diana (known to most of my friends as Ivory) and I'm from Chicago, raising money for my mother who lives in Indiana.

A combination of medical needs and accidents have piled up in the last few months. My sisters both have significant, permanent conditions (which I'd prefer not to detail beyond saying they are both mental and physical, as they're minors still and I'd like them to have that degree of privacy) and my mother has been raising them alone on a single, minimal income.

My mom also had to have her entire shoulder replaced after a nasty accident at the house a few months ago, and despite surgery, it's still causing her pain and interfering with her job, which she absolutely has to keep in order to keep my sisters and herself insured.

Usually we'd look to my grandparents for support, but my grandfather has been hospitalized for the last two weeks and the prognosis is not looking great.

I moved out of the house earlier this year in order to help alleviate financial burdens, but that means I am not in the state to help my mother, and also only make enough money for my own ends to meet. 

Unfortunately, this means that the low-income program my mother was a part of...decided she made too much money for how many folks in the house (less than 1000 dollars over for the entire year) and now is being hit with a significant amount of fees from my sisters' schooling at a time when she's already hurting. 

While any donations would be extremely helpful, the 1500 dollars is to encompass:

300.00 (outstanding book fees for my sisters)
800.00 (one month of rent to give my mother breathing room)
400.00 (school lunches & utilities for a month)

To reiterate, these funds will be spent on my sisters' outstanding book fees for school (300.00), a month of my mother's rent to support her (800.00), and the rest will go to school lunches, and utilities for the rest of the month (500.00).  Any leftover funds from the generosity of donors will be a cushion for the month to follow.

This money will be withdrawn from the GoFundMe and go directly into my mother's account, in order for her to access it as soon as possible.

It kills me that I'm not able to provide this help myself, but this is the only thing I can think to do.
