Help Ivana, a victim of medical negligence

Hello everyone,
My name is Ivana and I am 21 years old. I have been living in Iceland for 3 years, and since April 2018 I have been fighting for my life. Due to medical negligence, I developed a deep vein thrombosis, and pulmonary embolism. To this date I have not recovered, and it is very likely that I will have health issues for the rest of my life. I underwent two surgeries last year and have been subjected to multiple tests and studies. Not a single month has gone by that I have not been taken to the Emergency Room.
As an Icelandic resident, I am entitled to some discounts in medical care, but still what both me and my family have had to pay has been overwhelming. On the other hand, I am consulting with a lawyer, because I think it is only fair that those who caused this permanent life-threatening condition to me, assume their responsibility.
I am asking for your help because my physical status does not allow me to keep a steady job. My income is not enough to pay for my medication, studies, rehabilitation, and legal fees.
Since I have not experienced any improvement under the Icelandic Health System care for the last 18 months, I need to travel to my home country to get a second medical opinion.
