<div><em>We used to live in the north of the Gaza Strip, in Al-Shuja'iya, but one day, my family and I were displaced to the south of the Gaza Strip, to Khan Yunis, and lived there for two months in the midst of war. One night, surrounded by merciless suffering, tanks and planes bombed us, threatening our lives, so we were forced to move back to the south of the Gaza Strip, to Rafah for a while. [Then we were] displaced again to the center of the sector, to Deir al-Balah. [They have been displaced many times since.]</em>

<div><em>Living in a tent during the winter and in the shadow of war is suffering beyond description. When the cold wind blows, people only find weak fabric walls to protect their families, and with every drop of rain, water submerges the land that is supposed to be a safe haven. Living in such conditions steals warmth, safety, and sometimes even hope. For us, clothing is an urgent priority, as securing heavy winter clothes becomes a matter of life or death, we desperately need money to survive since providing the simplest necessities becomes a daily challenge, and every cold night turns into a new battle.</em>
