Help Isla-Rose Walk

Donation protected
As a parent, your biggest fear is getting told your baby isn’t well. Shortly after birth Isla was diagnosed with CMV and the doctor told us she had severe brain damage. We was told she may never be bottle fed, smile, laugh, talk or even sit up. Our biggest fear became a reality.

Isla was recently diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.

Isla has been having Physiotherapy under the NHS for around a year and a half, and we feel that she hasn’t received the appropriate physio as she only received an appointment when they could fit her in, on average once a month.

On her last appointment Isla had an accident whilst standing in her K Walker (frame).

Isla is now scared of going in her walker and it has upset us that much, that we don’t want her going back to her usual physio again.

Isla is 2 years old and she still can’t crawl, walk or even weight bare.

The reason for this page is to try and raise the funds in order to get Isla some private Physiotherapy where she will have frequent sessions at least once a week with good, professional care. Whereas under the NHS the funding isn’t there for Isla’s needs.

Upon searching for private Physiotherapists, we have found several that cater for Isla’s needs but unfortunately these 1 hour sessions are £80.

With your help, our beautiful little girl Isla-Rose could get on her feet and walk with her friends in the play ground.
