Help Isabella Take Her First Step Toward College and a Future in Musical Theatre At just 17 years old, Isabella Delgado has faced challenges that would have stopped many people. Instead, she continues to move forward with courage, determination, and a deep belief in her future. Isabella is a senior at Binghamton High School with a dream of earning her degree in Musical Theatre. Performing is how she tells her story, how she heals, and how she imagines a life beyond the hardships she has known. Her plan is thoughtful and practical. She will begin at SUNY Broome, build a strong foundation, and then transfer to a four-year college to complete her degree. Isabella has already lost both of her parents to addiction. She is now navigating adulthood largely on her own, with very little to her name, but an extraordinary amount of determination. What has carried her forward is her love of music, theatre, and the people who have believed in her along the way. Because of the generosity of this community, Isabella has already reached an important milestone. She has been donated a laptop for school and now has enough to cover her registration and initial enrollment fees. This means she is officially enrolled and preparing to begin college. Now she is working toward the next and most important step: being able to truly move in and begin. Right now, Isabella is starting from almost nothing. She is still in need of: • Dorm move-in costs • Required textbooks and school supplies • A basic phone so she can stay connected for school and work • A proper bed and essential personal items so she can rest, study, and live with stability These are not luxuries. They are the foundation she needs to succeed in school and in life. Despite everything she has been through, Isabella continues to show up with resilience and hope. She stays involved in theatre, keeps preparing for her future, and believes deeply in education as a way forward. She is a bright light with a strong work ethic and an unshakable commitment to building a better life for herself. This fundraiser is not about charity.
