<div>Help Indira Urrutia replace the studio equipment stolen from her.

</div>
<div>I’m Thomas, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my friend Indira Urrutia, a Chilean-born artist who works with photography, sound, weaving and knitting, and social practice.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recently, Indira’s backpack was stolen while she was delivering an artwork she had
</div>
<div>made for a trueque, a trade in which she exchanged her work instead of taking
</div>
<div>payment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Indira supports herself on a very limited income, and she can’t replace this equipment on her own. What was taken had been built up over several years as part of her working studio:
</div>
<div>• Her computer
</div>
<div>• Her phone
</div>
<div>• An external drive
</div>
<div>• Sound equipment
</div>
<div>• Other studio accessories
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Replacing it today means buying current models or their closest equivalents at today’s prices, which are higher than what she originally paid.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our $6,000 goal is based on the current cost of rebuilding the essentials she lost, not on upgrading.
</div>

</div>
<div>In Indira’s words:
</div>
<div>“I was rebuilding my website to finally bring years of research into my work. I’d just
</div>
<div>gotten new sound equipment for my installation, and I was putting together video for future installations. All of that stopped, first from the shock of it, and then simply because I no longer had the equipment to keep going. It took me time to get to a place where I could ask for help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now I’m ready to do what I can to recover as much of this as possible, and I’m grateful for your support.”
</div>

<div>How your donation works: GoFundMe doesn’t charge a platform fee. It deducts 2.9% + $0.30 from each donation for payment processing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I will withdraw the funds and transfer them to Indira directly.
</div>

<div>Thank you for helping put the tools back in her hands. You can see her work at
