#initwithindie Help Indie battle her brain tumour

Indie is a bright and beautiful 5 year old little girl from Chorley who was diagnosed with a brain tumour just days before she was due to start primary school.  

Indie’s tumour is a large low grade (slow growing) glioma brain tumour which has caused her to lose most of her eye sight.  Heartbreakingly little Indie is now registered as partially blind.  Each week Indie bravely travels to the RMCH for her chemotherapy and will need to carry on doing this until at least 2023.  

In the meantime, Indie’s amazing mummy Danielle is with her full time (whilst Danny is working as many hours as he can) supporting her through her treatment and the horrible side effects which has posed a huge financial strain on her family.  Indie’s family & friends want to try and make this time as comfortable as possible by fundraising in as many ways as we can think of!  

So far we have completed a sponsored walk, head shave, winter wonderland markets, raffle and even a boxing match!  Every single penny that we raise goes towards supporting Indie whether it is contributing towards the fuel to RMCH, arts and craft projects for Indie to do during her treatment, adapting their home to meet Indie’s ever changing needs and family days out so they can continue to make happy memories – literally for whatever they need.  So far the response has been amazing – Danielle & Danny have been absolutely overwhelmed by the support, thank you all so much!
