Get Well India

Donation protected
Here’s the problem:
You may have heard that India is experiencing a significant increase in new Covid cases. With a population of 1.4 billion people, this country has been facing it’s spiked outbreak of Covid-19 cases and its record high number of deaths. Not having enough room in hospitals, patients are being sent to marriage halls, offices, parking lots and other buildings that can accommodate the overflowing sick patients, struggling to breathe without Oxygen and waiting with hopes for their turn to get Oxygen support. Not even having enough areas to cremate dead bodies, it is stated that just in New Delhi, they are cremating 100-150 bodies every day, just dying from Covid infection only. Where families can’t even celebrate the lives of their loved ones, they are being forced to stay away from the cremation ground, meaning they don’t even get to see their loved ones before or after they pass away.  Parking lots have been transformed into cremation grounds where each ambulance comes around 15-20 times every day carrying dead bodies because they have nowhere else they can take them. So many fires have been created to burn these bodies, that India’s wood stocks are even running low. Doctors and hospitals are desperate for oxygen cylinders and Non-rebreather masks that can help save lives and lower the number of losses back in India. With donations from our family, friends, and people all over the world, we can help buy these oxygen tanks, masks and other necessities that really can save lives.

Remember, droplets of water are what creates an ocean. As such, even a small donation from you, plays a huge role in supporting India through its toughest time right now.

Who benefits from your donation:

The people of India will benefit from your donation. Millions of people in India cannot bring food to the table because they’ve lost their jobs, some cannot buy the essential items needed for their daily lives, etc…

The number of Covid-19 cases and death rates are increasing rapidly. The Indian Government is doing everything they can to reduce the cases, for example: by putting very strict lockdowns, vaccinating their population as quickly as possible  and increasing the production of essential items etc. However, the crisis situation has gone out of control and it is our duty and humanity to help the needy people in timely fashion! Every single dollar you give us, can move forward to help save the life of someone back in India, and avoid a family’s mourn to the death of their loved one.

How we will use your donation to provide for families:
We have already done some background research before starting the fund raising, so that once we get the fund we can use it in a proper way that the fund is beneficial directly to the COVID patients in India. Already we are in touch with some of the agents who sell Oxygen concentrators, Non-rebreather mask and other essentials  and have advanced some money to place the orders, as some of the products take atleast 15-25 days to reach the needy people. We are in contact with some of the Government hospitals in Tamil Nadu, South India, which are in critical shortage of the basic essential needs. We are organizing to buy and deliver to them, their essentials,  as soon as possible. And if any of you, generous  fund donors feel there is one specific Government  institution that you know is struggling without supplies, please feel free to contact us. The transition and the entire process  might seem complicated, but we have run through multiple organizations that have previously done the same for either India, itself, or other countries which have battled the virus heavily, and we will make sure it goes through the right channel and reach the right people. We know, most of you are generous enough to donate money for the noble cause. However, you may not know how to do it? May not have the time to organize this? Well, we want to donate the time, organize and  coordinate this event successfully for  your valuable donations to reach the needful people of India during this crisis time. Once the fund raising is completed successfully, we will update you with detailed information/ receipts  of how we utilized the fund to purchase the items and ship to the specific hospitals and how it helped the people of India.

How soon we need these donations:
Well, hopefully, because the crisis in India is occurring right now, we need to get the items to the hospitals in the next two to three weeks. That's the reason we have advanced some money to place the order in India to save some time as it is time critical. Which means, to purchase these products and to send it over in time, we need the donations in by the next week. This way we are actually contributing at the right time, as it is already a bit late and many lives have been lost. This is a very time-crucial fundraiser and needs to be done either now or soon. So please do not forget and remember that we need your help in order to  make this fund raising successful. Either tonight or tomorrow, or any day, the donations you send us will help someone back in India. Though, the sooner, the better. They need oxygen to breathe  and food to eat today, and we need to make sure we can supply this to them on time.

How grateful will I, or the rest of the families in India be for doing this?

This question is straightforward. How grateful would YOU be if you knew that YOU helped save the life of someone? As heroic as it sounds, your donations right here are actually saving lives. I, personally, will be so grateful to see that many families are putting so much effort and thought into helping someone back in India, whether they even know anyone there or not. Just helping out right here is going to save the mourning of thousands back in India. Therefore, as you may assume, of course Indian families will be grateful for this. They would be grateful that you are putting your care and thoughts through them and that you are thinking of them through this tough time.

They need you. They need your support in healing and recovering from the pain this virus has caused them. Giving is not just about making a donation. You are making a difference in someone's life in India. You may be saving a life of a person who is the only bread winner of a family of 10 people who rely on him or her for food. You may be saving the lives of parents of young children, who might be otherwise orphaned. What you donate today is going to be the reason for one's smile when they receive the fruit of it tomorrow.
