My name is Sangeeta Sharma, I am an Indo-Canadian, living in Calgary, Alberta for over 20 years. I am a woman entrepreneur and have been running a successful business in Calgary. I had to visit Delhi, India for some urgent personal reason however, once I got here I started noticing how dangerous and alarming second wave of COVID-19 is and that has crippled the people here. I cannot return back due to Canada's restriction on flights from India so, I would like this opportunity to do my absolute best to make a difference in people's life and with folded hands, I request each one of you to join me and help our motherland when she needs us the most.
I am witnessing the ground realities of the helplessness people are experiencing here in Delhi. People are dying, there is no household untouched with the virus, and they need help with the most basic needs like oxygen, medicines, and food as they just cannot afford it. We need to step up and help. I am donating and doing whatever I can however, my donation alone is not sufficient for how much help they need here, and am requesting all of you to join me in extending further help. Please donate as much or as little as possible for you, no amount is too small or too big when it comes to help as every dollar helps.
I will be providing complete transparency, will have all the receipts, pictures, and details to make sure you know where your money has been spent and how much of a difference it has made.
