<div>Hello, my name is Dina I'm 23 years old, and I want to tell you about my mother, Inaya.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My mother is 45 years old, but the war and displacement have made her look much older. She used to be a special education teacher in Gaza, but today she is living in a tent with us—her six children.
</div>
<div>We share this tent with three other families (15 people in total), including my father’s younger sister and her five children, after her husband was killed in the war.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In just a short time, my mother lost her husband to illness in Egypt, her home, her job, and the life she once knew. I see her crying at night, but in the morning she forces herself to stay strong for us.
</div>
<div>She has already survived three strokes from the stress, yet she continues to fight for us
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have been displaced eight times, carrying whatever little we own, wondering every time:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Where will we go?
</li>
<li>Will we find clean water?
</li>
<li>How can we survive the burning sun of summer or the freezing rain of winter in these weak tents?
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My little brother Ahmed said to my mom recently:
</div>
<div>“Every day lentils, lentils, lentils… my stomach hurts from lentils.”
</div>
<div>My mom cried when she heard their complaint, but she also thanked Allah that at least we had something to eat.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Food prices are beyond imagination:
</div>
<div><strong>1 kg of flour: $100</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>1 kg of onions: $42</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>12 eggs: $80</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>1 kg of garlic: $148</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>1 kg of potatoes: $30</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We desperately need your support to:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Feed us and cover displacement costs: $10,000
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Leave Gaza to find safety: $5,000 per person, $35,000 total for the family
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Support my father’s medical treatment in Egypt: $10,000
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Rebuild our home and my father’s small poultry farm: $10,000
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please, help my mother
</div>
<div>Every single dollar matters. Even $5 could make a real difference in our lives.
</div>
<div>Your kindness could give us a chance to dream again and let my mother breathe a little easier.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From a daughter’s heart: thank you for standing with my mother, and with us❤️‍
