Help us as In STEPPS Academy opens in Fall 2018 in Irvine, CA! We are currently enrolling students ages 5-6 that are on the autism spectrum. Our dream is finally becoming a reality!
Any donation amount will help! Scholarships, financial aid, technology, support staff, enrichment activities, field trips, classroom materials, and more! The sky is the limit because EVERY KID COUNTS!

In STEPPS has been working hard on developing a non-profit, private school for children with autism. This is a much-needed resource in our community and we are excited to roll this out! Our philosophy is that if children have difficulty learning the way we teach, then we must teach the way they learn.
In STEPPS Academy is a nurturing and highly individualized academic environment that will cater to the unique needs of students on the autism spectrum. Each child will have a personalized education plan that takes their learning style and achievement levels into consideration. We believe that every child has the ability to be successful and our goal is to make learning fun and effective for all students. Students will have access to state-wide curriculum in addition to goals in functional skill areas including social skills, communication, self-care, community skills, play, safety, leisure etc. Fostering of meaningful friendships between students through enriching activities such as theater, sports, art, and music. Our approach is rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and uses PRT (pivotal response treatment) strategies to keep kids motivated and applying what they learn every day!
School is about more than just academic reading and writing. It's about providing a safe place where every child matters. Where they will experience success, laugh, play, learn, and explore. We want to be a place families can trust their child, their most precious gift, will be nurtured. A place where they will grow and they will flourish. We don't just want what is appropriate for your child, we want what is best for them. A place where kids can foster friendships and where they feel welcome and important. Where everyone, parents/teachers/children, have pride in the accomplishments that happen within our walls.
