Help! In need of medical devices

I'm a disabled veteran in need of help. 

First off, I must say, I'm reluctant to even be writing this, , , do to pride, but I've recently had a life-changing medical condition due to a medical situation we never saw coming.

  One day I was fine,,, and woke up the next morning my right side was paralyzed,now.  It turns out that there was a lesion in my spinal cord that swelled up, ruptured and shut my right side down. 

Neurosurgeon went in and removed the problem but I am still left with limited function on my right side, meaning I still can't feel my leg, and my right hand only has about 25% function

I'm still going through therapy, but it's going to take a long time to get back to what would be considered functional. But I still can't walk without assistance.

  I could not have made it this far without my Angel of a wife, she has been a godsend,.. truly.

So I've tried to keep this as brief as I can and still try to explain everything without writing a book.  

Now, my goal is to try and raise funds to get mobility scooter so that I can get around a lot easier

In closing, I'm just asking for a little bit of help,,,please!!!
