Help rescue our road and keep the place accessible

Hi! We are George, Sophie and our kids Caio and India.

We live completely off-grid in the wilderness of Tuscany. Here we maintain an ancient farmhouse and do what we can to live as self-sustainably as possible.

The 3km long 'road' is now in serious need of repair. Built by hand around the 1950's it's never really had much attention since and it's now getting to a point where even our Landrover Defender is having a hard time reaching the house. Simple things such as bringing up supplies and building materials, and doing the school run etc are becoming extreme off-road adventures (not to mention occurring regular Landrover maintenance costs). The road is our lifeline to the outside world.

With your kind donation we will buy all the gravel needed to fill the holes in order to at least make it a smoother journey in the Landrover. We hope to eventually make the place accessible in a regular car so our guests can reach the house independently.

This is a job that will last many years and will require constant maintenance. With your help we can finally make a step towards making some serious improvements that will also benefit our kids and guests.
