<div>Nazywam się Renata i jestem mamą Igora – 15-letniego chłopca chorego na <strong>achondroplazję</strong>, rzadką chorobę genetyczną. Od lat walczyliśmy w Polsce o dostęp do leczenia dla naszego syna Igora. Pisaliśmy pisma, błagaliśmy urzędników i prosiliśmy polityków. Niestety – <strong>system zawiódł</strong>. Zostaliśmy więc zmuszeni do <strong>emigracji medycznej do Niemiec</strong> – gdzie Igor mógł natychmiast rozpocząć terapię. To była nasza najtrudniejsza decyzja, ale wiedzieliśmy, że tylko tak możemy uratować zdrowie i przyszłość syna.

<div>Ze względu na konieczność<strong> ciągłości terapii</strong>, nie możemy wrócić do Polski – tam refundacja leku ruszyła dopiero kilka miesięcy temu, a powrót oznaczałby <strong>pół roku przerwy w leczeniu.</strong>

<div>Igor chodzi do <strong>Dresden International School</strong>, gdzie znalazł przyjaciół i nauczycieli, którzy go wspierają. Uczy się po angielsku, poznaje niemiecki i marzy o maturze międzynarodowej IB. Szkoła daje mu nie tylko edukację na najwyższym poziomie, ale też wsparcie w odnalezieniu się w nowej rzeczywistości.
