Help Iggy Get FIP Treatment
Donation protected
Meet Iggy. Our 10 month old kitten.
On February 13th Iggy was diagnosed with Neuro/Ocular FIP. A disease that left untreated is fatal.
Early February we noticed his eating habits had nearly vanished and he was lacking energy. Prior to this Iggy was a little bundle of sunshine who was full of snuggles, loved to play, and LOVED to eat. We took him to the vet followed by an emergency vet trip where we were told he would likely need to be put down.
In one last effort to figure out what was wrong with him, we tried a new vet who diagnosed us with late stage Neuro/Ocular FIP, we were told our options were limited and sent home with steroids and pain management to keep him comfortable. Our vet mentioned to us to try to see if FIP Warriors on Facebook could help, and sure enough we found our saving grace.
We are now 2 weeks into treatment and Iggy has bounced back and has already gained over 1lbs!! This medication is saving Iggy life. Which is where we come to ask for help. This treatment is an 84 day course of injections/pills and it comes with a hefty price tag. Not to mention the vet bills we have already racked up and future blood tests/check-ups to make sure Iggy is going to be okay.
We are asking for your help to allow us to continue treating Iggy. He is one of the sweetest natured, smartest animals I have ever encountered and he deserves a shot at life.
Please help, if you can’t donate please share this.
Thank you, from us and Iggy.
