Dear friends, families, and community members,

As a parent of two daughters who attend ICYC, I’m reaching out from the heart with an urgent plea for help. Our beloved school, a place that has nurtured and guided our children with knowledge, faith, and care is facing a severe plumbing problem that has brought major parts of the building to a halt.

Recently, the maintenance team discovered extensive underground pipe damage running through multiple classrooms, restrooms, and hallways. To access and repair the broken drainage and sewage lines, large sections of the foundation, floors, and walls had to be removed. It’s heartbreaking to see exposed trenches, unusable restrooms, and classrooms where our children once learned islamic knowledge and academics side by side are now in disrepair.

The total cost to fix this crisis is estimated at $50,000, which includes plumbing reconstruction, foundation repair, and restoring the floors and walls. For a small community-based Islamic school like ours, this amount is beyond what we can manage alone. Without these repairs, key areas of the school cannot safely reopen for our students and staff.

As a parent, it pains me to see the place where my daughters have grown spiritually and academically now struggling. ICYC has always been more than just a school, it’s a community, a family, and a place that helps our children grow closer to Allah.

Every donation, no matter how small, is a sadaqah and will directly help restore our school. Alhamdulillah, we’ve already seen the power of our community coming together in times of hardship, and in sha’Allah, with your help, we can rebuild ICYC stronger than before.
