Help Ibrahim and his family in Gaza

Donation protected
Thank you all for your support for Ibrahim and his family! In order to be able to raise the goal of the fundraiser, and for the most efficient bank trasfer, we are working on setting up a new fundraiser directly with Ibrahim's relative, who has been forwarding the donations via me to the family. This will require some time and paper work, during which this fundraiser has to be paused. We will link the new fundraiser as soon as it is up and running!

Hello, I am Ibrahim Al Hayek, 20 years old, studying engineering at university. I was supposed to graduate this year and worked at Carrefour to support my family, alongside other odd jobs. My father suffers from heart disease and high blood pressure, and I had to cover my university fees, placing significant pressure on me as a young man.

My ambition was to specialize in my field and contribute to future generations, but the war destroyed my university, home, job, future, and dreams. Now, displaced from our destroyed home, I live in a tent infested with insects, enduring high temperatures during the day, sitting in the street under constant fear and bombardment.

My elder sister, Ghada, 18 years old, was a high school student aspiring to become a pediatrician to help sick children. However, the war stole her dreams, friends, and school. She contracted hepatitis due to lack of cleanliness, accumulated waste, polluted water, and food scarcity.

My brother, Abdel Karim, 16 years old, loves helping others, playing with children, and pets. He had a group of beautiful dogs that were killed when our house was destroyed. He excelled in his studies, loved his school and friends, but lost his best friend in the war and hasn't seen his friends for 10 months.

My sister Layal, 11 years old, loved drawing and dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. She had many drawing tools that were destroyed when our home was demolished, shattering her dreams completely.

The youngest member of our family is Fatima, who hasn't experienced a safe childhood. Every day, she fears the sounds we hear, her doll burned when our house was demolished. She lacks clean food, a safe place to sleep, and clean clothes, living a childhood filled with fear and lack of joy.

Finally, our parents, whose goal was to provide us children with a better life, had their dreams shattered because of the war.

In these challenging circumstances, we need your help and support. We suffer from a severe shortage of basic resources like clean food, water, and safe shelter. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in our lives.

With your help, I can complete my university education and achieve my dream of becoming an engineer. Ghada can receive the necessary treatment, regain her health, and continue her studies. Abdel Karim can return to his school and reclaim his normal life. Layal can rebuild her dream of becoming a fashion designer. And Fatima can live a normal childhood free from fear and hunger.

We thank you for your generosity and support. Every donation helps us overcome this ordeal and restores hope for a better future.
