Hey y’all

Finding my dad after a lifetime of wanting to know him and losing him after 4 of the best months I could have ever dreamed of with him has left me feeling a level of grief I didn’t know was possible after a year of pretty intense grief. I’ve been through a lot in my life, but this moment is hands down the worst. I’ve lost a lot of my ambition, will, and fight for life.

I am desperate to get myself back on track. I have often come to community for support, and I am coming to ask for support again in the hopes that i can use the time the support will give me to stabilize my housing, get therapy, and slow my life’s pace down in order to take care of my mental health.

This is one part of my mental health plan. Once I’ve secured the financial piece, I’ll be taking a social media hiatus for the winter so I can focus on myself, my mental health, and my family. I know this holiday season is an incredibly difficult time to give because there is so much need. I am grateful for any support you can offer.
