Ian Taylor is a farmer at Chispas and a terrific part of our community of herbalists, healers, and change-makers. They're due to have a complex and invasive surgery on Dec. 16th, addressing an ankle joint which has been plagued by a tumor attacking the tendon sheath and eroding bone. Yikes!

The surgery will correct this reoccurring problem, but it will have a lengthy recovery time. Ian will be out of commission and unable to work for 8-10 weeks, and will need to wear a walking boot for up to 3 months. They are looking forward to rejoining the crew at Chispas Farm as soon as they can, and as for us crew members, we want Ian back asap! (They're one of the best wranglers of Sokka, one of our most rascally goats!)
