Help I Heart Black Business Stay in Business

I Heart Black Business is an event planning and production company serving the black-owned businesses in Iowa.  We seek to strengthen the black community, increase our influence, and help develop young, black entrepreneurs.

In 2019, I Heart Black Business held a networking party for black entrepreneurs to meet and learn about each business. In 2020, I Heart Black Business  created Strut Your Roots hair show to unite stylists and entrepreneurs across the state of Iowa working in the hair industry. All vendors at the hair show were also black-owned businesses from across the US. Unfortunately all events, including Strut Your Roots hair show, have been canceled due to COVID-19. 

I Heart Black Business needs to purchase a vehicle to be able to deliver supplies to black-owned businesses and travel to further locations. We want to be self-sufficient and keep costs low for our customers.

Although a vehicle will cost us $10,000, raising at least $2,000 will speed up our progress and get I Heart Black Business that much closer to rebuilding our community.
