<div>My name is Hussam. I was born on November 8, 2000, in Nuseirat Camp, Gaza. I live under siege, under bombardments, and in constant uncertainty. Every day is a challenge, not just to survive, but to provide for my family and hold on to a future that feels increasingly out of reach.

</div>
<div>I hold a degree in Computer Engineering, and I’m also a football player. Football wasn’t just my passion, it was how I earned a living and supported my family. I trained, competed, and hoped to one day play professionally outside of Gaza and represent my people. But the war has taken that dream away. The opportunities have disappeared. Livelihoods have collapsed.

<div>Gaza is under siege. No one can leave, and nothing can come in. Food, medicine, and clean water are limited and sold at unbearable prices. What used to be basic is now a daily struggle to find. My family and I live under ongoing bombardment, with nowhere that feels safe, and no certainty about what tomorrow holds.

<div>We have been displaced multiple times—forced to flee after our home was bombed. We left everything behind more than once, searching for shelter where there was none. Even in Rafah, where we sought safety, the attacks followed. We eventually returned to Nuseirat, not because it was safe, but because there was nowhere

<div>I live with my mother, my father and three sisters and I carry the responsibility of caring for them. My mother suffers from a chronic chest condition, and without access to medical care, her health is at constant risk. We live day by day, doing our best with what little we have.

<div>Right now, we urgently need support—for food, water, and basic necessities. These are the bare essentials to survive but they became a luxury.
</div>

<div>This campaign is to help a young man stand by his family, and one day return to the life and dreams that were put on hold by the ongoing genocide.

Je m’entraînais, je participais à des compétitions, et j’espérais un jour jouer professionnellement à l’extérieur de Gaza pour représenter mon peuple. Mais la guerre a brisé ce rêve. Les opportunités ont disparu. Les moyens de subsistance se sont effondrés.

<div>Gaza est sous blocus. Personne ne peut sortir, rien ne peut entrer. La nourriture, les médicaments et l’eau potable sont rares et vendus à des prix insupportables. Ce qui était autrefois basique est devenu un combat quotidien. Ma famille et moi vivons sous des bombardements constants, sans endroit sûr, sans certitude pour le lendemain.

<div>Nous avons été déplacés plusieurs fois — forcés de fuir après que notre maison ait été bombardée. Nous avons tout abandonné plus d’une fois, à la recherche d’un abri qui n’existait pas. Même à Rafah, où nous pensions trouver refuge, les attaques nous ont suivis. Finalement, nous sommes revenus à Nuseirat, non pas parce que c’était sûr, mais parce qu’il n’y avait nulle part ailleurs où aller.

<div>Je vis avec ma mère, mon père et mes trois sœurs, et je porte la responsabilité de prendre soin d’eux. Ma mère souffre d’une maladie chronique des poumons et, sans accès aux soins médicaux, sa santé est en danger permanent.
