Help Hurricane Florence Dogs

As Hurricane Florence approaches the Carolinas, Capitol Canines Animal Rescue in Washington DC is urgently working to save dogs in the path of the storm in North and South Carolina.  We are working with our local shelter partners to pull dogs that have been outdoors and have nowhere to go.  We're also working to help the shelters clear their indoor runs for strays and owner surrenders during and after the storm.  Not only are we rescuing many more dogs than we would normally, each dog is costing us more because last minute transports must be paid for and veterinary care will have to be provided in Washington DC, rather than the Carolinas, which makes it more expensive.  We need your financial help now more than ever.  Please consider donating whatever you can to help these dogs -- no amount is too large or too small.  100% of your donation will go towards covering the transport and veterinary care costs for the dogs and all donations are tax deductible.
