Assalamualaikum (peace be upon you), we are attempting to raise money for less fortunate families during this blessed month of Ramadan, and not only in the month of Ramadan but for the rest of our lives. Brothers and sisters, Ramadan is here and we have been blessed with another opportunity to make a change in both our own lives and the lives of so many other people who are in need of help. With your assistance, we can bring that change. The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: “Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.”. As we begin our efforts during this beloved month, we hope and pray InshAllah that this endeavor remains and succeeds forever. Let us be generous and give charity for the sake of Allah (SWT) and help hundreds less fortunate, sick brothers and sisters with food and financial assistance. Insha'Allah, with your donations and support, we will be able to assist those in need and alleviate any burdens they may be facing while helping them have food on their tables and a home to sleep in.
To a hungry family struggling to find food for iftar, or those homeless out in New York City, your donation is a lifeline. Let's come together and help those less fortunate. Even the smallest contributions will go a long way InshaAllah and will aid those less fortunate families and individuals that do not have food on their plates or even a home to go to. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Every deed of the son of Adam will be multiplied between ten and seven hundred times. Now imagine the rewards we will reap as we begin our efforts during this holy month (and for as long as we can InshaAllah) Our mission is to feed as many people and help the homeless facing trouble in New York City In'Sha'Allah with YOUR help. While we are immensely blessed to have food on our plates and a place to call home, there are brothers and sisters struggling to find just ONE decent meal. Let’s take some time to think about their struggles and spare some change, even if it’s a dollar. Charity (sadaqah) is not judged by Allah (SWT) based on how big or small of an amount you give, but rather it is based on your intention to help. It is not an obligation but is a practice highly encouraged. The best of us are those who bring the greatest benefits to others and a man’s true wealth is the good he does in this world.
