Hi! My name is Huich and I’m running the NYC Marathon this fall to raise funds for Glia Gaza.

I have a dear friend that volunteered with Glia this summer and after hearing his stories of unimaginable hardships and unbreakable faith of the Gazans, it made me want to help in any way possible.

Every mile I run supports their lifesaving medical work, their clinics, doctors, and even 3D printing devices that are making external fixators, devices used to stabilize broken bones from the outside of the body, and mobility aids, things like crutches, walkers, or other tools that help people move. This is exciting because it means important medical tools can be produced locally, rather than having to be brought in. Just two weeks ago, a patient had surgery using ones of these 3D printed external fixators.
