Help Hubby! Please!

I’ve debated over and over if this is right way to go. My sweet husband and son both had their vehicles broken into with tools and wallets being stolen! Credit cards had to be cancelled,  new driver’s license have to be reordered. This is not the first time, but this time in broad daylight! I realize people are desperate due to lack of work since COVID, but stealing our livelihood is downright low! I pray they needed it more than us, hard to not be angry. Brad lost his wallet with cash for rent he was fixing to pay. Also,  7 nail guns, compressor, and several tools, he’ devastated! At least they only got stuff in truck cab and not the stuff in truck bed. We don’t know what to do! He helps out a friend from church for extra cash now and then but now without his tools, these were his personal tools from working construction most his life until his deafness limited his options, it’s not possible. Anything to help him/us to replace tools and pay bills.Im not trying to take advantage but sometimes desperate times make desperate decisions.
