Help House WMP Coustumes & Props

Willow Manor Players has been delighting the community with its performances since 1962. In addition to putting on a show for our friends and neighbors, we help local students pursue their studies in the Performing Arts through the Ruth Kletzing Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Recently, we lost the space we’d been using to house our costumes and props. We’ve spent decades collecting pieces to help enrich our shows and had spent 8 years in the space. While the lease was under the name of Willow Manor Players, theater groups from around the area used the space to collaborate with our production staff to help stage their shows as well. We swapped and stored so many things that all benefited a much larger community of theater.

We have been actively trying to find a new space, but nothing has come up that will fit a non-profit budget. We have rented temporary storage space while we continue to look for alternate housing. In the meantime, we have incurred unexpected moving costs (3 dumpsters for clean out plus the monthly rentals on our new storage units).  

We are asking if you can help offset some of this cost through a donation made here. If you’ve been in one of our shows you’ve seen the production work that went on at St John's, please consider giving. If you’re a member of a group that has swapped costumes with Sandy or worked with John and Bill on a set piece, please consider giving. If you have seen one of our shows or have attended a community theater production in the area lately, please consider supporting us and our endeavor to keep the 'community' in community theater.
