Family and Friends,
Our father, Horace Roberson, was recently diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Pulmonary Fibrosis is a chronic, aggressive , relentless lung disease that occurs due to lung scarring. Due to this condition, and now requiring oxygen for most of the day, Dad needs a portable oxygen concentrator machine.
Currently Dad uses compressed oxygen, however this has negatively impacted his mobility. His current oxygen machine only emits oxygen for about 2-3 hours before needing to be swapped out for another tank. These past few months have proven to be challenging not only physically but emotionally for both of our parents. In addition, due to Dad's illness he is unable to subsidize his income while medical bills have increased due to the various therapies and doctor appointments. Unfortunately, his insurance does not cover the cost for a compressed oxygen machine.
We are asking if you would consider being a blessing to him during this time of need. The sooner we can get this machine purchased, the better quality of life Dad can have. Currently dad spends most of his days homebound
This machine will be able to help him doing some of the things he once enjoyed. . Any excess funds will go toward his medical expenses.
